Responsibility is everyone’s job at Okmetic
Compliance with responsibility and its development are supervised by the CEO together with the executive management. In particular, social responsibility is the responsibility of the Director of HR, IT and Corporate Social Responsibility.
The environmental executive management is responsible for the practical implementation of Okmetic’s social responsibility management. Their other responsibilities include the environmental system, chemical safety, occupational safety, and responsibilities related to raw materials and waste. Okmetic’s occupational safety committee is responsible for the collaboration with the occupational healthcare provider. HR management is responsible for occupational wellbeing, working environments and personnel.
The policies and ethical principles, which are intended to guide responsibility perspectives in practical work, are available to everyone in Okmetic’s internal channel. The manual on social responsibility contains a description of Okmetic’s principles and practices, and it is included in the employee induction program. We have concluded a social responsibility contract with our most significant contract manufacturers and suppliers.
Okmetic’s management is based on compliance with ethically approved principles.
The executive management, assigned by the board of directors, enforces the operative organization, which includes personnel organization with all the reporting relationships and operative management groups. Personnel representation in the company management is carried out by Okmetic’s operative management team.

We use quality and environmental systems compliant with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 standards, and we require ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification even from our most significant contract manufacturers and suppliers.
